Welcome to Arsenal World!
Things are becoming clearer... after the events of last weekend, when the team showed precious little heart or ability against Manchester United, they contrived to dominate possession against Chelsea and still lose. This brings into sharp focus what we already know - that even when we put everything into a game, we're simply not good enough to compete with teams like United and Chelsea. How on earth can we hope to match these sides when we don't have a single top quality striker to call upon, a defence that masquerade as the Keystone Cops, and a goalkeeper totally devoid of confidence? - So we've taken one point out of nine, failed to score a goal, and now face Liverpool on Wednesday. If we don't win we're going to get drawn into a dogfight for fourth position, which is going to be more hotly contested this season than ever.
