Effing International Friendlies...

... the curse of November is upon us - Robin van Persie could well be out for a lengthy spell after being assaulted by some Italian clogger in a friendly game tonight.
The Dutch boss said: "The first diagnosis is that Robin has a bad ankle injury. The seriousness of it we won't know until we have the full X-rays in hospital. It's terrible for Robin and is not good for Holland or his club."

We'll have to wait to find out the true extent of the injuries.
